SeekUnique Business Manager has simple requirements, as long as your computer is running one of the supported operating systems. Most computers manufactured in the last few years should be fine. We would generally recommend 8 GB RAM (4 GB RAM minimum).

Screen resolution is important and we recommend a minimum screen height of 900 pixels. Recommended screen resolution is 1920 x 1080, often referred to as HD. Some older monitors (especially older laptops) only have a vertical resolution of 768 pixels and, although Antiquity will run in this, it is less than ideal. If you are using an older laptop with such a low screen resolution, please consider upgrading it.

Please see below for network requirements when running Antiquity on two or more computers. Antiquity will run in a mixed network of Mac & PC without any problems.

Customers using Antiquity on up to three computers at the same premises do not require a server since one of your computers can act as a quasi-server. However, there are several benefits to using one of our server options, including automatic backups.

  • Customers using Antiquity on 4+ computers will need to take advantage of one of our server options.
  • Customers who need access to Antiquity from multiple locations will need to use our cloud servers.
  • Although our cloud servers are extremely secure, we still offer a local server option for clients who are unwilling to put their data in the cloud.

SeekUnique Business Manager Mobile for iPad provides access to your contacts, stock and invoice data whilst out and about. Data is stored locally on your iPad so you can access it even when you don’t have internet access. if you’re at an exhibition and a customer asks about an item that you don’t have with you, you can instantly find that item on the mobile app, show her the details and images and even email a personalised PDF stock sheet. Since all your current and past stock data as well as consignments is stored locally, you even have access to items sold many years ago - unlike viewing items on a website which is usually limited to current or recent items.

With our mobile app, you can see all the details about a customer's wants and interests, previous purchases and even check how much she paid. You can see your cost prices for stock, enabling you to respond appropriately if the customer tries to negotiate a discount. You can also enter contact details of people you meet at an exhibition and transfer those details directly back to the Business Manager app in the office.


Data entered into Business Manager on one computer is automatically updated to all the other computers ensuring all users have the latest information available (requires either networked computers or our cloud server option).

Business Manager will run on a single computer or on up to three computers without a dedicated server. A server option is required for four or more computers. if a server option is required, we will advise you which option is most appropriate depending on your individual circumstances. For all locally networked installations, we recommend a wired network for security and speed although Business Manager will usually work perfectly well on a wireless network with a strong signal. We do not recommend using Business Manager on a wireless network where the signal is weak or regularly cuts out.

The setup fees include remote installation and configuration of Business Manager on your computers. Please note however that we do not install your actual computers or networks and only provide limited computer or network support where it relates to using our software. We recommend that you have an agreement with a local I.T. support company, with which we will work on your behalf to address any Business Manager related computer or network issues, so you can concentrate on your business and not have to worry about the geeky technical stuff.
